Founding story
Royal Five Nursery and Primary School is located Up-station Bamenda in the North West Region of Cameroon. Founded in 2021 by Dr. Louisette Sama, the school was established to build a solid foundation for life-long learning, developing well rounded, confident and responsible children positioned to achieve their full potential.
At Royal Five, we believe that education is preparation for life, and that this preparation begins at the basic level. Beyond academic excellence, children also need values, confidence, initiative, and the ability to grow into responsible future leaders.
That is why Royal Five follows the regular government curriculum while also incorporating a rich life-skills programme that nurtures an entrepreneurial mindset in every pupil. We encourage initiative, innovation, thoughtful risk-taking, resilience after failure, and the ability to find opportunities in challenges, all within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Our people and values
Royal Five is shaped by teachers, families, and school leaders who want children to feel known, supported, and prepared for the future.
We focus on the early years because confident learning habits begin at nursery and primary level.
Children learn best where they feel safe, respected, included, and supported by the adults around them.
Our pupils grow through academics, values, creativity, confidence, initiative, and practical life skills.
